Is it right for me?

The Diploma in Procurement and Supply is ideal for those who have a few years business experience, 2 ‘A’ levels or CIPS qualifications in purchasing and supply. It is an intermediate level purchasing course. The CIPS Diploma together with CIPS Levels Advanced and Professional Diplomas is the most common route to reach full membership status (MCIPS).

What will I learn?

You’ll develop advanced skills in negotiation, and understand the complexities of contracts and other commercial arrangements. You’ll learn how to measure the effectiveness of supply chains and analyse their impact on your business.

See the detailed content for each of the five units of the course below.

How am I taught?

The course is delivered through teaching sessions which introduce fresh content and linked workshops that focus on quizzes, case studies and past papers

We offer weekly evening classes at our centres (and at some centres daytime classes). We also run an option which combines weekly ‘live’ videoconference class combined with locally based face to face workshops – which can take place wherever you are!

The course timetable for 2018 / 2019 is set out below.

Because the course is modular clients can start in September, November, February , March and May.. It generally takes a year (40 weeks with breaks !) to complete the course. It is perfectly possible to take more than one exam at a time and finish earlier

Our offer includes feedback on practice exam papers, individual ‘catch up’ tutorials, free attendance at additional sessions and online access to session slides and example answers. We also provide a guaranteed pass whereby if clients are unfortunate enough to be unsuccessful in an exam ( our pass rates were actually 97 % in the last exams we hasten to add!) we will continue to tutor them without charge.

How is my understanding assessed?

Assessment for each module is by written examination. We provide all the support necessary to make sure you are successful – including a guaranteed pass!

Can I view a teaching session?

We run ‘test drive’ sessions every week when the course is being taught. You are most welcome to come along to take part in a teaching session, meet with us and talk to our current clients . Just let us know when it would be convenient for you to come along.

What do I do to move things forward?

If you wish to move things forward we will send you a (short!) registration form for you to complete so we can confirm your place on the course.
